    Put Your Best Foot Forward

    The Craven Clinic welcomes Podiatrist Corrine Dickson to the team, providing Skipton with the very best treatment in Chiropody and Podiatry.
    Corrine graduated in Podiatry from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, she began her career working in the NHS as a podiatrist and went on to specialise in bio-mechanics and nail surgery.

    All Foot care treatment are personalised to each patient’s needs. Corrine is an HCPC (The Health and Care Professions Council) registered Podiatrist, also a member of The Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists. So you can rest assured that you are in safe hands.

    Appointments are available with Corrine at the Craven Clinic on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and some Saturdays.

    NAVIGATING THE NUTRITIONAL 'MAIZE'

    In a world where we are bombarded with (often conflicting) healthy eating advice, it can be tricky to work out yourself how you might improve your health through food.

    This is where nutritional therapy comes in. As a registered nutritionist and therapist at the Craven Clinic, Deborah Thackeray works with clients to help them change how they eat to to make big differences in how they feel.

    Deborah works with people with all sorts of different conditions from osteoporosis to diabetes with pretty well everything in-between!

    “I have been in practice now for over 4 years. In my last year of training, my husband was diagnosed with coeliac disease. This led me to become very interested in the area of food sensitivities and auto-immune conditions. Gluten sensitivity has become a large part of my practice. I’m absolutely fascinated by the puzzles that clients sometimes present me with – they know that something is affecting them, but not what. I help people change what they eat, but still have the most amazing delicious food. I am a keen cook and have lots of recipes at my fingertips to tempt even the most reluctant chef back into the kitchen.”

    In addition to offering Nutritional Therapy, Deborah also runs gluten free baking courses.
