Pinpoint your Pain
If you suffer from migraine headaches, they can be frequent and for some can be debilitating, affecting both the quality of life and the ability to work with symptoms including throbbing headache, sensitivity to light and sickness.
Fortunately this condition responds well to Traditional Chinese Acupuncture.
Rhona went to see Angela Pegg at Craven Clinic after years of getting regular migraine headaches.
"I have suffered from migraine headaches all my life. A friend suggested I try acupuncture, but I didn't really know what to expect. Angela took all my details and did a Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis.
She used six acupuncture needles, which are very fine and I did not feel them. It was very, very relaxing. I attended once a week for a month. I rarely have a migraine now and if I do it is far less severe.
I go back two or three times a year to prevent them reoccurring. I find it quite amazing and I would recommend you give it a try."
Angela Pegg has been working at Craven Clinic for four years. She has a BSc Hons in acupuncture.
