I have always had an interest in people and how to support those who are experiencing challenges. After studying psychology at University, I went on to work with clients through a career in the voluntary and community sector, supporting unpaid carers and people living with mental health issues. I am also a qualified and experienced coach, with a Coaching Diploma from Newcastle College.

When I experienced challenges in my own life, I had a course of hypnotherapy and found it to be highly effective and enjoyable, I was fascinated to know more. I went on to train with the SFTA Hypnotherapy Training Academy at Leeds Trinity University and I am now a qualified Solution Focused Clinical Hypnotherapist.

I help people overcome their emotional and physical challenges using a combination of talking therapy and hypnosis to help them refocus and regain control of their emotions and their lives. Solution focused work, as the name suggests, is about the solution, not the problem. You won’t be asked to revisit difficult experiences, instead, together we will gently identify how you want to be living, and help you get there. Hypnosis is a natural state that we enter frequently in our day to day lives, and I will tap into this to help you to live calmly and positively.
