Emotional Freedom Technique
Hello, I am Jo Brown, EFT Therapist and Quality-of-Life Coach and I am delighted to join the team at Craven Clinic. After over 20 years of working in a GP surgery, I became very aware of the consequences of stress, anxiety and depression and the link to chronic illness.
In 2019, I took the decision to complete a wellbeing coaching course, this was a turning point for my life, and in 2020 during lockdown I started to work with a coach and train as a TARC EFT Practitioner. (Tap Around The Clock Emotional Freedom Technique).
TARC EFT is a version of EFT, a Chinese medicine therapy. TARC EFT can narrow down where you may be experiencing a blockage in your meridian system, we tap to clear the negative physical or emotional challenges, completing the session with a more positive outcome.
TARC EFT can assist with the following:
- pain relief and management
- tackling phobias
- reducing stress
- managing habits and addictions
- stopping smoking
- improving confidence and self belief
- enabling lifestyle changes
- reducing emotional distress
- supporting and easing change
I have experience in supporting clients facing overwhelm with work issues, for them to become more confident and able to deal with the situation. I have supported clients dealing with life trauma, which is causing limitations in their life, where we clear the blockages allowing them to start to live the life they want, and I have supported clients facing a terminal diagnosis allowing them to clear the fear and eventually face a peaceful transition.
I am a registered member of the Complementary Medical Association (CMA) and an accredited member of the Personalised Care Institute.
Standard prices are £90 for the first appointment which is 1 ½ hours, subsequent appointments are £50 for a 50 minute session.
